Connect your company
QuickBooks production authorization is not active yet. Once Intuit’s requirements are complete, an authorized company administrator can approve the connection.
- Open MarginDesk on its installed computer and sign in.
- Open Settings & connections → QuickBooks Online.
- Follow the account-authorization instructions. Review Intuit’s requested accounting permissions before consenting.
- Enter any required credentials directly in the private local app, never by email or chat.
- After company verification, enable polling and confirm each document’s job match in Estimates & invoices.
MarginDesk’s connector only reads estimates and invoices. Intuit’s accounting permission is broader than read-only; the app does not use it to create, edit, email, or delete QuickBooks documents.
